Usage

Main uses and contact opportunities: used as solvent, essence, artificial leather, reagent, etc.

Invasion route: inhalation, ingestion, percutaneous absorption.

Human hazards: with anesthesia and stimulation. Exposure to high concentrations may cause irritation of the eyes, nose, throat and respiratory tract. Repeated or long time contact, progressive anesthetic effect. Recovery is slow after cessation of contact, sometimes resulting in corneal opacity. Can cause dermatitis and eczema to the skin. Eye burning, tearing, progressive dyspnea, headache, dizziness, palpitations, depression, central nervous system depression. Methanol produced by its decomposition can cause vision loss, visual field reduction and optic nerve atrophy. High concentration can produce anesthetic effect and liver and kidney hyperemia; Acute pulmonary edema may occur if sustained and large amounts are inhaled. Chronic effects may include secondary anemia, leukocytosis, visceral turbidites and fatty changes. Occasionally allergic to this product, a small amount of inhalation can cause gingival bleeding due to vascular nerve disorders.
