Application：Organic synthetic raw materials, mainly used to produce Freon (F-21, F-22, F-23), dyes and drugs, in medicine, often used as an anesthetic. It can be used as solvent and extractant for antibiotics, spices, grease, resin, rubber. Mix with carbon tetrachloride to make non-freezing fireproof liquid. It is also used in aerosol propellant, grain fumigant and temperature calibration standard solution. Industrial products are usually added with a small amount of ethanol, so that the generated phosgene and ethanol produce non-toxic diethyl carbonate. Before using industrial products, a small amount of concentrated sulfuric acid can be added and shaken, washed with water, and dried with calcium chloride or potassium carbonate to obtain ethanol-free chloroform.
