Acetone: Analysis of Import and Export in November

In November 2022, China's acetone import volume reached 60,941.835 tons, with an average import price of US$622.21/ton; compared with November 2021, the import volume decreased by 12,859.774 tons, and the average import price decreased by US$181.31/ton, of which the import volume decreased by 17.42%. The average import price decreased by 22.57%.

According to customs statistics, the main sources of acetone imports in November were Taiwan, South Korea and Saudi Arabia, with imports of 18,600 tons, 13,200 tons, and 11,200 tons respectively, among which Taiwan ranked first. The main import trade modes are: processing trade with imported materials and general trade, among which general trade is absolutely dominant, and processing trade with imported materials accounts for a small proportion. The main customs declaration places for enterprises are Jiangsu Province, Guangdong Province and Shanghai City.

In November 2022, China's acetone export volume reached 270.819 tons, with an average export price of US$973.27/ton; in November 2021, China's acetone export volume was 1396.547 tons, with an average export price of US$819.10/ton. Among them, the import volume decreased by about 1125.728 tons, and the average import price increased by 154.17 US dollars/ton.

According to customs statistics, the main export sources of acetone in November were: Ecuador, Peru and Chile, with imports of 99.84 tons, 72.96 tons and 55.5 tons respectively, among which the imports from Ecuador ranked first. The top three exports accounted for 84.29% of the total exports.
